Campanula cochlearifolia ‘Miranda’

Once thought lost to cultivation Reginald Farrer’s Miranda is a treasure. Prodigiously free in growth bearing large shallow-cupped flowers from summer right away till autumn. Farrer considered it one of the greatest rock garden plants and never one to hold back, described its flowers thus, “of a delicate pallor which might almost deserve the name of silvery, like a fine cloud at night with the moon behind it”.
